Write My SOPs

This Launch Pad takes you from a raw description of a business process, or the transcript of a screen recording, to a complete one-page SOP plus a training version, pressure-tested on paper before a real person ever runs it.

Bring to the session

  • Your output from LP 2.9 (your first five SOPs and process map) and LP 4.1 (your operations audit and subtraction list). These are your baseline — LP 4.2 expands the SOP library you started in Book 2 using the priorities LP 4.1 identified.
  • A description of one business process in plain language. Write it as if you are explaining it to someone who has never seen your business. Or paste the transcript from your screen recording (Step 1 of the 4-Step SOP Builder).
  • The context: what business this is for, who typically performs the task, and what tools or software are involved.

What you walk away with

- A one-page SOP in the template format (process name, owner, trigger, numbered steps, done-when, escalation path, review schedule) - A training checklist version with "why" notes for someone learning the process - A list of steps that need a screenshot or photo - A suggested review schedule

The AI does the structuring. You do the testing. It can turn a rambling transcript into a clean checklist, but it cannot watch a real person pause at step seven with a question in their eyes. Step 3 of the 4-Step Builder, testing with someone who is not you, stays human. No paper test replaces it.

The guided version opens with The Builder's Desk

A 4-step guided session that structures the work, saves your outputs, and connects them across chapters. Until then, the full briefing is in your copy of the book — it works with any capable AI assistant.

One email when it opens. No sequences, no spam. Unsubscribe any time.

From the book: Save this output, you will need it for LP 4.3 and LP 4.4. ---
